A fantastic win at the Aberdeen fortress for Sat boys against a fired up Revolution side. Fortunate for us we were even more fired up after watching the 300's film of beefed up Spartans taking on the Persians the night before.

1st half was a close affair, we probably created the better chances and had more of the running. It was a tough game with everyone getting stuck in, evidence myself getting a cut lip from a miss guided elbow to the face. Our first goal came from their keeper misjudging a high flying free-kick from Stefano which was superbly headed into net by Medhi. Revolution looked real dangerous with their long throws and the small Aberdeen pitch which caused us all sorts of problems. One header by Jessop lead to the save of the season from Richie in goals. 1 nil up at half-time.

The second half saw much of the same battle go on, the bouncy pitch probably didn't do justice to both sides skill levels. However with our own Stevie G who played a MOM with Halsey in center midfield roll we seem to hold things together. Let's hope Steve will stay with us for the rest of the season he is no doubt a superb player.

Given that all the guys that came into the second half played brilliantly and this was a huge difference from the previous games. Both Pablo and Jlo played fantastic in the defensive to keep another clean sheet. Allard controlled the left side of the pitch when he came on and set the winner up for Flabbo who slot it in calmly. Medhi overhead kick started the move and it was excellent interplay that lead to the goal.

Of the others to shine out Jeff and Lionel played well wide and built a lot of attacks. Oggy was superb as rolling sweeper in the defence and marshaled the team well. Dev was stand-by manager and did some excellent changes in the second half.

All in all great game to play against a strong revolution side who had won 5-nil the previous week. Well deserved win.

Henry.
