PAFC: Goals: Ashley Dyer 2, Simon Page, Robbie Ansell Assists: Scott Kinnear-Nock, Robbie Ansell, Lee Douris
HKAE: Goals: Marcus Ng, (Own Goal) Assists: Eric Woo
Twas a hot day Saturday and PA at 13 men looked very worried as HKAE produced the cast of Ben Hur!!
GOAL: A fantastic start from PA as Ashley Dyer smashes in a first time shot from 30 yards with barely 2 minutes on the clock. PA continued to pressure looking for the second with Simon Page hitting the bar, shooting just wide and Scouse hitting a post. HKAE then started to find some confidence after keeping PA at bay and knocked the ball around with comfort. A burst down the right saw a very quick HKAE player round Gatesy (That never happens) He stumbled was the cry. Only a fantastic block from keeper Scott prevented an equaliser. However HKAE didn't have to wait long, Another quick break this time down their left saw a pinpoint low cross between Scott and the CBs tucked away by a late arriving HKAE player. 1-1 at half time.
After some choice debating at half time PA came out with a much better focus. Again HKAE were caught napping as a ball over the top was smartly taken down by Pagey and tucked away under the advancing keeping. PA really started to dominate now with little trouble at the other end I have to say.
A break mid way through the half by Ansell down the wing saw him deliver a great cross for Ash to nip in a neatly chip the keeper. Number four came from a corner with Ansell again there to pop up and just nip in front of the keeper for a glancing header inside the far post.
OWN GOAL of the season came from Errol Flynn who rose majestically to beat Scott all ends up in the top corner after a HKAE free kick had been delivered into the PA box 1 minute from time. Even Scott said it was the best header he had seen in many a match!!!!
So 4-2 and all credit to HKAE for a good match especially the first half. A good addition to the league. Fantastic.
