BOCs were comprehensively beaten by the JLeaguers who were eager to inflict revenge having been beaten by the BOCs 3-2 few weeks ago having led 2-0. JLeaguers bought down a large squad whereas the BOCs were struggling to get out a squad.

With a depleted squad, the BOC game plan of trying to grind out a draw was undone after 10 minutes, a nice move with the stinker lifting the ball over a stranded keeper. With the BOCs believing that lightening does strike twice, it was soon 2-0 after a poor clearance went straight to a JLeaguer who hit a sweet drive into the bottom right hand corner of the net. Was this a wake up call for the BOCs to now start playing? The answer was unfortunately a "no".

Soon it was 3-0 and the BOCs wanted to ref to blow for full time rather than half time which it was. The half time BOC team talk was to see if we could restore some pride and to not lose the second half.

At first the BOCs played well having rejigged the team, playing 3 at the back and 5 across midfield. With nothing to lose, the BOCs forgot about the score and just played the game. However, this mini fight back was soon put down by JLeaguers. Catching the BOC defence high up the field, a hopeful offside appeal was waved away by the ref and they made it 4-0.

With the BOCs now out of ideas and out of steam, 3 further comical goals were conceded and endured the BOCs to their worst defeat ever in their legal league history. The only consolation was that this was not a full strength BOC squad. Well played JLeaguers, they deserved their victory today.
