JLeaguers: Goals: Setoyama, Takee Assists: Sarita, Setoyama

JLeaguers started off in a blistering pace, very much like the weather and took an early lead when a free kick halfway into BOCs half was floated in, with some poor BOC defending, JLeaguers opened their account with a header from 5 yards. JLeaguers, who played a very good passing game, now began to play with even more confidence, spraying the ball around with the BOCs trying desparately to win the ball, were looking for that killer second. It came after 15 minutes, again the BOCs were guilty of making schoolboy errors by not playing to the refs whistle. Appealing for offside, the BOCs stopped running as the JLeaguer player, also believing he was offside, stopped running and ran away from the ball. With no whistle being blown, the same JLeaguer player having ran back onside, now ran towards the ball with the BOCs STILL motionless. From about 10 yards from the corner flag, he curled the ball into the top right hand corner of the goal. Pure comedy from the BOCs but a brilliant goal.

The BOCs were now seriously in trouble, hot and frustated. But, with the JLeaguers firmly in control, they switched off and gave the BOCs a chance to get back into the game. With a overhit cross from the left, the ball made itself to an unmarked Kan Wong who was playing on the right side of mid. Totally unchallenged, he had time to pick out Siu Kau, know as "ah Wai" to the BOCs, who again was unmarked, headed into the net. 2-1 and game on!.

With halftime fast approaching, a Tony Choi trademark long throw into the box where Nick Chan allowed the ball to bounce once and hook shot it into the back of the net to make it 2-2.  Half time was a welcome relief.

The 2nd half was much tighter and both teams where feeling it more now. Luckily for the BOCs, Jason Lee turned up having just flown back from Taiwan. Fresh and full on running, he came on and he was immediately our only guy who would chase a nothing ball. With 10 mintues to go, he clinched the decisive goal. With the JLeaguers playing a very high offside line, BOCs managed to poke the ball to Jason. It seemed like the ball was hit to hard, with the goalie rushing off his line it looked like the goalie's ball. With those fresh legs, Jason just manged to get his toe to the ball first rounding the keeper, steadied himself and slotted the ball into a empty net. What happened next can only be described as brown underpants stuff. Stunned by being behind, the JLeaguers bombarded the BOC defence, crossing and taking shots at every opoortunity, BOCs could only hope the ref would blow up. With two strikes just whistling past our post, the ref blew for full time and the BOCs remarkable comeback was complete.

Well played the JLeaguers but today was just not their day, BOCs rode their luck dug deep and snatched victory.  I'm sure the JLeaguers will have their revenge and the other teams better take note
